The beach is extensive and windy, with various areas suitable for different levels of surfers. The surfing conditions include sandy and rocky waves, best at low and mid tide. This beach also features surf schools, equipment rentals, restaurants, and nearby bars.
In Gran Canaria, you can find the best spot for surfing, El Confital, La Derecha del Lloret, and Las Canteras Beach are the three most frequented spots by riders in Gran Canaria.

Located in Telde, on the east coast of Gran Canaria. With a volcanic rock and stone bottom, the Lloret wave has one of the best right-handers on the island of Gran Canaria for surfing.
With medium length and large walls with different sections, it also breaks left if the conditions are right. The best conditions for this spot are during low tide, with winds from the S-SE-SO-E and swell from N-NE-NO-O between October and May.
